Join me on my Digital Marketing AI Journey
The digital marketing landscape is constantly changing and evolving, and with so many AI digital marketing tools becoming available, it will continue to do so. The AI market is still very young but growing extremely fast and that means that those of us working within digital marketing roles will have to respond the right way. Many are concerned that as the AI landscape grows and evolves, it could affect digital marketing jobs in the future. Depending on the role this may be true, especially for jobs that contain repetitive tasks or require a lot of data analysis.
But even though this might be the case, I do believe that as AI continues to grow and change the digital marketing landscape, those of us working in a digital marketing capacity can also adapt and evolve with these changes and learn how to use these tools to optimize our digital marketing efforts and offerings. I believe if we act sooner rather than later, we can benefit by accepting that our roles within digital marketing may change over time and focus our energy on adapting to the change and ensuring we stay relevant.
Is AI the future of Marketing Industry?
One thing to also bear in mind is that while AI is becoming more of a reality in our industry, we must realize that these AI tools do not operate on their own – they do require human input and as smart as AI is, no tool can ever compare to a human being’s ability to be creative and to problem solve. Again, I really do believe that while it is most likely that some jobs may disappear because of AI, you can also expect that new jobs will be created which means there will be many new and exciting opportunities available.
I have personally been doing some research and realized that I am behind on my AI digital marketing game. I also realized how easy it is to become complacent and just focus on what the role and industry calls for at present and make myself believe that when the landscape changes I will focus on it then. However, the faster things change and evolve the more important it is for me (and for others) to move from this place of complacency and become more proactive.
Therefore, I have set myself the challenge to not only get up to date on what’s developing in the Digital Marketing AI landscape, but to test as many AI Tool that that I can in order to get a better understanding of what works, what doesn’t, how it can benefit my work, businesses and future career, and I would like to invite you to go on this journey with me.
Bottom Line
As I test various tools I will write about my experience and what I have learned and how it has benefited me – but be warned it won’t be rocket science, I will simply share insights on what worked for me, what didn’t – what was easy, and what was complex and challenging, and most importantly how the tool added value to my role and business, and how I believe it can benefit my current and future career (and yours). Some initial tools I will be testing include Predis AI, AdCreative.ai, Missinglettr, Jasper AI, Analisa and much more.
As I evaluate these tools and write and share my experiences I want to invite and challenge you to come on this journey with me, to become proactive rather than reactive and I believe that together we can prepare for a future that may involve many changes but also many opportunities.
